The idea is to create a more aesthetically appealing habitat for reptiles, birds, or rodents, and their owners.  It is a common problem amongst pet owners that an animal is mistreated due to the lack of interest in their animal. This can lead to injury, illness and even death of their animal.  One of the causes of this problem are the animal has lost its’ appeal, to the owner, do to lack of being stimulated and becoming less active within the cage. 

   It is our approach that a natural habitat that caters to the specific needs of the individual animals will improve the living standards for these animals, thereby creating a more appealing animal and more interesting environment for both pet and owner.  In order to create this new environment for the pet we fist look at what is currently available to the pet owner; there are not to many choices on the market now; most every reptile containments are small to large aquariums, this is also true for the rodent gages, and for birds typically a small restricting cage is all that is available, of all of these choices none are all that appealing to the pet owner as far as the way this cage fits into the decor of the home.  By creating a more decorative piece of furniture that will blend in with the traditional household furniture and provides functionality of a naturalistic habitat will make the environment more appealing to the homeowner.

   Some of the accessories that we will offer are different ways to change the surroundings so that the pet doesn’t become bored with it’s’ environment; things such as foam rocks that can be moved to different levels within the containment space, perches to rest on that are realistic to the natural habitat of the pet, and realistic greenery for the pet to nest or hide in.  Other features are aimed at the owner’s preferences; shelves to store books about their pet, cabinets to store their pet’s supplies within, an easy to clean removable tray, and quick access to their pet with a secure facing that slides open. One benefit to creating a decorative piece of furniture, as opposed to the current cages that are now available, it is more appealing for the animal to live in any part of the home. 

    The habitat can be placed in a high traffic area that will be seen more often to provide a conversation piece for friends and family.  Since the environment can be changed easily and often, neither the pet nor the owner will become tired of the scenery, thus creating a stimulating environment that is healthier for the pet.  Our goal is to create a natural habitat that caters to the specific needs of the individual animals. With the proper care, an animal will thrive and entertain the homeowner to create a more enjoyable relationship that will carry on for years.
